Admissions Process
Create your CCC account
Creating an account will allow you to learn more about CCC. Once you create an account, you can schedule a campus visit, register for an admissions event, and apply for admission to the college.
Schedule a campus visit and tour
Sign up online to attend Central Days or schedule an individual tour, or call the Admissions Office for an appointment. You can also meet with financial aid staff during your campus visit.
Explore our career and technical education or transfer programs.
Application for admission
Complete and submit your application. Applications may be completed and submitted from our website. Some college programs have special admission requirements and deadlines; you can find out about those by checking with the Admissions Office.
Send official college transcripts electronically to Central Community College. If you completed college credit at another institution, including dual-credit, request an electronic copy be sent to CCC. Once the transcript is received, CCC will evaluate the courses for possible use towards your program at CCC.
Apply for Scholarships
Scholarship application is available online. Please take note of all scholarship deadlines and guidelines.
Financial Aid
If you are interested in financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) after Oct. 1. CCC’s school code is 014468.
Housing
Indicate your interest in on-campus housing on your application for admission. Housing is only available at the Columbus and Hastings campuses.

View the Central Community College 2023 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (ASR)
The Annual Security and Fire Safety Report includes Clery Act crime and fire statistics for the preceding three years for locations owned and or controlled by Central Community College, the required policy disclosure statements and other important safety related information. A paper copy of the ASR is available on request made to the Security Department by calling 308-398-7440, by email to lshultis@521lotto.com or in person at the Financial Aid and Associate Dean of Students Offices on the Grand Island, Hastings and Columbus campuses and the Learning Center Managers Offices in Lexington, Holdrege, Kearney and Ord.
